A wonderful example of classic Provençal architecture, Château Ventoux is an 18th-century rural retreat that occupies 20 acres and is surrounded by rolling vineyards and orchards. Able to sleep 15 guests across nine bedrooms, the château is situated a kilometre from the idyllic village of Sarrians. Just 23 km to cultural Avignon, 60 km to sun-soaked Nimes and 100 km to vibrant Marseilles, it offers absolute peace and quiet while remaining within easy reach of the region’s major towns and cities.

Château Ventoux features three sumptuous master suites spread across the ground floor and first floor, each with a king-size bed and elegant ensuite bathroom. A further six ensuite bedrooms are located on the second floor. Four rooms are replete with king-size beds, and two with two comfortable single beds. All rooms are spacious, classically furnished and in keeping with the building's authentic design.

The family kitchen boasts an exposed stone finish, centres on a sizable island and is equipped with modern appliances. It is the perfect place in which to prepare indulgent lunches and evening feasts to be enjoyed in the traditional dining room. For relaxing and unwinding after a meal, guests can choose between three spectacular lounge spaces - the Grand Salon, Oval Salon and Peacock Salon. The château's impressive home cinema system means movie night is on the cards, while a pool table allows for fun and games.

Château Ventoux is an ideal choice for active travellers who enjoy outdoor activities and pursuits. It benefits from an all-weather tennis court, a volleyball court, a basketball court and a squash court. It also offers access to well-equipped gym facilities. The sizable pool area includes an adults' pool, children's pool, sun loungers, pool house and independent barbeque kitchen. Guests can also eat outside in the comfort of the dining pavilion before taking to the outdoor sofas for a post-lunch coffee.
