Nestled into the sculptural rocks of the cliff overlooking Los Arcos, Azul Profundo I is two minutes from the gorgeous Mismaloya beach and the sea lies at your very feet. The airport is only 40 minutes away and the vibrant town of Puerto Vallarta is a 35-minute drive from your door.
Grand rooms of sweeping tiled floors combine tradition and contemporary splendour with flair. Bounteous house plants, charming art-filled alcoves and beautiful artisan furnishings of wood and stone bring an air of tropical enchantment. The deep blue of the ocean dazzles through huge picture windows and glass walls. The top two floors have separate entrances (so can be rented separately) and each floor boasts a great room with flatscreen TV, a lovely dining area, fully-equipped kitchen and deep cushioned seating. A complete staff of chef, waiter, bartender, housekeeper and villa manager will ensure your every need is looked after.
The 15 ensuite bedrooms are shining havens whose windows look out to nothing but ocean. There are 16 queen-size beds split across the 15 bedrooms, which include a magnificent primary suite with a fabulous raised bed and private living room spilling out into the greenery-swathed terrace. Another bedroom is a haven of rustic charm beneath deep umber tiling and traditional brickwork. A further queen suite is gloriously expansive and boasts its own hot tub.
Outside awaits a cascading network of terraces, balconies and decks that are bursting with tropical enchantment. A lovely bar looks out to the horizon, hammocks hide under shady thatched roofs, loungers and dining areas sprawl across elegant stone decks amongst greenery and beautiful stonework. The main terrace provides a glamorous setting for an oceanfront dinner - gourmet or BBQ or both! At the heart of it all lies the spectacular infinity pool whose azure waters seem to blend with that of the ocean beyond: a deep blue which will wash away your cares and welcome in nothing but splendour.
